Elaine is one of the smartest dogs EVER. I like to say she is so smart, that she was trained before she was ever trained! She has a wonderful ability to know exactly what you are thinking and what you want from her without saying a word. Elaine is fondly called Lulu, Lanie Lu, and Lu.

Dear Susie,

Missy (an Elaine X Wayhn pup) is just a love. At 13 weeks, she is 99% housebroken (important for me), quick to observe and learn anything asked of her. She knows "come, sit, ball, let's eat, let's go inside, go potty" consistently by now. She is so sociable, and loves meeting new people. If she senses that "all is well", she accepts that person as "part of the pack"- important to us because we have so many children coming into our home with our boys, and our college girls bringing home friends. She has effortlessly learned to walk on a leash next to Chester, so we go for evening walks as a family. She loves to play ball, and has an assortment that she keeps track of carefully. She loves to shadow me or other family members as we go about our home routines, and has even won over Chester's curmudgeony grandpa heart! Thought you might like some more pics from last weekend.
